Calling for the next K.K. Slider!

 ATTENTION!

WE NEED THE NEXT K.K. SLIDER!

I don't need to explain everything you already know, we're recreating the 2006 Animal Crossing Movie. And we're at 1/6 of claimed scenes taken by animators and fans like you, so thank you so much!

But it's not always about arts and crafts, the term "RE" has another meaning to it, Remix.

We've seen remixes all over the internet, from Dubstep to Classical arrangements.

Musical tunes that remind us of a memory or a feeling in a completely different vibe,

Just take a look at the AC Remixes from the Super Smash Bros. Series.

So it would make sense to have these "Remastered Tracks" into our project,

and there's one guy for that job...

NOTEBLOCK!

That's right, this is not a joke. We got in contact with NB to help us create AWESOME sounds and covers of Animal Crossing music thru-out its 20-year history!

NB has created wonderful soundtracks of our favorite games and media, 

including the end credits for the Legend of Zelda CDI Reanimated.

And that is what he plans to do next!

Two tracks (One for each Part) will be played during the credit sequence as we congrats the animators for their contributions while listening to some sweet, sweet music to your ears.

We are very fortunate and honored to have NoteBlock work with us. We want to add this little polish to our project to make it the best we can do. And the finishing touches...

So here's what we're looking for

Two songs will be made, One is a Remix of K.K. Bossa. Simple enough.

But for the second, we decided on an original lyrical composition!

A song that tells the story of Animal Crossing's long following of fans.

Some of the Best Examples you can find around are*

MandoPony's "Turning over a New Leaf"

CG5's Delightful Day"

and NateWantsToBattle's "Isolated Island"

and as much as we want the original singers, we did however want to hand the microphone to you guys!

So we're happy to announce auditions to perform the end credit song in the second part!

If you or a friend have the talent for vocals and would love to be in an NB Remix.

NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!

We're looking for an English female singer. But we'll also look into Male singers or a Japanese Dub.

The song is an upbeat tune, like the one's listed above*

The same rules and guidelines apply as if you were requesting an animated scene.

Why do you want to contribute?

and your workflow, since you'll be working with NB

We'll review all the audio examples you have given us, and the team will see through who made the cut.

You can even get help from others, like a mixer or editor friend,

Make you tell us so that they can be credited in.

We want it to be as great quality as possible, Both in sounds and vocals.

But use the best of your abilities and the equipment you have with you.

The chosen singer will be announced via Gmail, and be invited to the Staff-only Discord server.

We plan to have both NB remixes to be done no later than January 1st, 2023,

so that will be your somewhat deadline for Emailing us.

You must also be under NDA until the project (both parts) is fully finished.

And although we're not covering it, you have the option to sing the Movie's

"Let's go to the Forest" as one of your singing examples. 

Lastly, there may be one person to sing in the credit, but we'll likely do an honorable mentions video!

allowing some to sing our song in a compilation video.

that's also where we'll put the possible different language dubs.

We'll provide more info about this soon.

The Team has never done anything like this before, but we're also excited to do this.
